This will encapsulate all your images into a single file and reduce the overall size for sending to an FTP server. If you are running XP, zip capability is built into the operating system. Mac users may need Dropzip by Stuffit.

Question #7 You will have a personal ftp account ID and password assigned to you. Use a NAP blue bag # or a descriptive name for the order, this will be used for future orders from these files and for order tracking. Use your own identification codes such as Jones-Smith Wedding or J Smith-Senior for easy tracking. We will assign a blue bag # if the order does not have one. Request an ftp account

Question #8 You should edit and select only the files you want converted, place them in a folder named for the job. Then zip up the folder prior to uploading to your account on our ftp server.

Question #9 The file size will vary based on the camera raw capture settings. For instance, a six megapixel camera (3000x2000) will produce a raw file of about 7.5 megabytes. The converted file when open in Photoshop will be about 18 megabytes (3000x2000X3), when saved in jpg format at high quality (12) the file should be about 4.5 megabytes. The jpg size will vary based on the complexity of the image and range of colors.

Question #10 Thumbnails can be used for point of sales on your computer or with a digital projector. They can also be used on your website, although you may want to resave at a lower quality (more compression) to reduce the file size and capability of making a quality print.

Question #11 You can use any product in NAP ROES. Just be sure to enter the job number of the raw converted files so our system can link up with the high resolution printing files. The job number is embedded in the jpg file header.
