Sample layouts have been provided in roes to show the capability of the pager tool. You can quickly build layouts in about 5 minutes that can save countless hours you would have spent in Photoshop. The layouts keep the images independent without flattening so each image can be color corrected.
Go to the Lab Color Managed Catalog and select the Pager Templates tab. This will open pager enabled layouts. If you want to use some Pager Designed Layouts open that tab, these cannot be altered and all image nodes must be filled.
Selection Tools: Allow you to create/edit image or text nodes and move their positions, angle, size and layer position.

Always press the edit button after any change.

Atribute buttons: Can alter the created node's color, stroke, opacity, fill color etc.

Always press the edit button after any change.

The template pallet will open and close by clicking the pager icon. This is where you will store your template designs for future use.
Activate the pager tool and select a print size from the pager layout tab in the ROES catalog.
Atributes: These buttons control the appearance of the nodes you create.

Click on the grid to activate. Set the grid space and the check box.

Set the grid spacing as you wish, this is set to .5 inches to allow accurate positioning of the image nodes.
Drawing and selection tools.

Click on the Draw button to create an image node. The TDraw button will create a text node.

Drag out an Image box (node) in the layout area
Drawing and selection tools.

Coordinate information is displayed for the currently selected node. Horizontal and vertical position plus width and height.

The layout size is displayed below the buttons.

Use the grid to help position your image. You can rotate the node by mousing over the corner of the node till you see a curved arrow, then drag to the position you
With the node selected add a Stroke color to the edge of the image node with the check box and select color, width and opacity or use the defaults.
A green stroke has been selected for the image node.
Image Opacity button controls the density of the selected node, it can be transparent if over another image node or create a faded apperance if used on the background.
Add Drop Shadows to an image by activating the check box and moving the sliders to control the blur, opacity and coordinate of the shadow.
Duplicate the node by right clicking (PC) or control click (MAC) and select duplicate from the drop down menu.
Image Node effects enable the selected image node to change shape. If the image node box is a square, the eliptical shape will be a circle. You can also make it B&W or sepia.

If the node is text a type style can be selected here.

A variety of masks are also available if you wish to use them.

Edit the node to an eliptical shape.
Use the layer + or - button to move node positions in front or back of each other.
Text can be added to a layout using the TDraw button and dragging out a node to size.
Save the layout for future use under a group heading in the My Templates pallet.
My Templates pallet will store the layout for future recall in the group you have selected. You can create a new group by clicking the new group tab and giving the group a name.
Background: You can add a background image of your own, this will not be able to be cropped and must be the same shape as the background (square etc) If you want a controllable background, drag out an image node the same size as the layout template, then insert your image.
You can select a background we have provided under the templates button. This cannot be cropped or changed but you could use the opacity control to get a faded effect.
Masks: You can use masks you have created in photoshop in a node or use one listed under the node button. The image will show thru the black areas of the mask.

Note: Drop shadows do not work well on nodes with masks. Don't use them with masks.
